 Historic Site of San Gimignana The historic site of San Gimignana in Italy is situated on a hill. The surrounding landscape from here is very breathtaking. This historical site was considered as a pilgrimage site during the Middle Ages. The city is located in the Val d'Elsa, 56 km south of Florence. About 72 historical buildings were built here.
