India will become a green hydrogen hub.



Great step by the Government of India.

👉Taking a major step towards making India a green hydrogen hub, the Union Cabinet has approved the National Green Hydrogen Mission.Incentive will be given on the production of low cost green hydrogen in the country.The steps taken by India from time to time regarding climate change have been praised all over the world.

What is green hydrogen?

Green hydrogen is clean energy, which is produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using solar power. It does not cause pollution, hence it is called green hydrogen.



👉Hydrogen demand will double

Green hydrogen demand in India is expected to reach 11.7 million tonnes by 2029-30.Now its demand is 67 lakh tonnes. Clean hydrogen requires water and cheap energy. And India has both the resources. The country has a long coastline, and plenty of sunlight. Solar power and sea water can prove to be helpful in making green hydrogen. India is preparing to move forward to become a global clean hydrogen hub.
